I just spent a year of paying for a service that gave me a resume for teacher position. I was told they could do something about making it more readable. The resume I handed to them was written by an English major who also writes for another resume service. It was written according to the languages and how a Teacher would word a detail of their experience and talents. They took a perfectly good resume and downgraded the resume to a High Schooler looking for a job.
My experience with Top resume. I told them to use more college like and educated wording . I referenced them a few pointers. They were not very accommodating in putting them there. I told them that I was not happy with resume. They told me to let them do it again. Still came back with exact same resume sent.
Story short I wrote it myself, paid for Microsoft word to review and and edit myself. I had to convert it from pdf so I could do Convert it and edit details that that were new. . Started getting calls right away.
So I just finished paying for their service for nothing.
